    Provisional Ballots

Occasionally a voter’s name will not appear in the correct voting precinct either on the computer for early voting or in the official register for election day voting. In those instances, a voter will vote a provisional ballot that requires photo identification (example: driver’s license) and proof of residency (example: bill or check book). Therefore, it is a good idea to take these items with you at the time you vote.
