Library Closed for Boiler Repairs Wednesday, January 30, 2008 - 09:58 AM The Provo City Library at Academy Square will be closed temporarily due to a boiler malfunction that became apparent early Tuesday morning. The library will likely remain closed for at least two days while it is repaired. The piping inside the boiler has sprung leaks which can only be fixed by shutting down the boiler, the building's main source of heat. Repairs are underway and it is anticipated that the Library will reopen Friday.
Southgate Commercial Center Announced in South Provo Thursday, November 15, 2007 - 03:41 PM Mayor Lewis K. Billings and Mark Pace of the Boyer Company announced today the signing of letters of intent to build a new commercial and retail center in South Provo. To be known as the Southgate Center, this project will be located at the intersection of 1860 South and University Avenue. It will include 459,000 square feet of national retail space and 225,000 square feet of office space, and will result in a redesign of the Reserve at East Bay Golf Course.
