AGENDAS Agendas for the Council Meetings and Study Meetings are usually available to the public five days in advance of a scheduled meeting. Agendas may be obtained on this web site or by calling the Council Agenda Hotline at (801) 852-6060.

MINUTES Minutes of Council meetings are not released to the public until after the Council has reviewed and approved them. Approval of minutes normally occurs two weeks after the meeting. Minutes may be obtained on this web site. Minutes from past years may be obtained by contacting the Recorder's Office at (801) 852-6524.

PUBLIC INPUT Typically at the beginning of every Council meeting, 15 minutes are set aside for citizens to express their views regarding matters not on the Council Meeting Agenda. This is referred to as "Questions for the Mayor and Council." Each speaker is limited to 2 -3 minutes at the discretion of the Council Chair. If action is requested the Council Chair may refer the individual to the appropriate City department or administrative staff. Because of the need for proper public notice, immediate action cannot be taken in the Council Meeting. However, the Council may elect to discuss a matter of immediate public concern.
