    • Provo City’s Neighborhood Program facilitates communication between residents and local government officials and encourages citizen participation in important decisions affecting the City of Provo.
    • The City of Provo is divided into 5 general areas (Central, Southeast, Southwest, Northeast, and Northwest) and 34 smaller, specific neighborhoods. Each area and neighborhood unit has an elected representative who serves as a liaison between local government officials and the residents of his/her respective area/neighborhood. Map
    • The Provo Municipal Council actively seeks input from the Neighborhood Area Representatives and Neighborhood Chairs.
    • The City uses the Neighborhood Organization to both provide for and solicit information from the residents of Provo's neighborhoods.
    • The Neighborhood program also works closely with the Provo City Police Department to help make our neighborhoods safe. As part of the Community Oriented Policing Program (C.O.P.), each neighborhood has a Neighborhood Officer assigned to their area.
