If a power line is down, call 911 immediately, then call 311 to report it.
If you lose power check to see if your neighbor’s power is out too. If so, please contact us by calling (801) 852-6000 24/7, 7 days a week.
If the outage is widespread, please don’t hesitate to use our automated telephone system to report the outage and get information about the outage. Using the phone system to report an outage helps us make sure that your lights come back on and you are not left without power.
If your house is the only one in the neighborhood without power:
- Check your fuses or circuit breakers. The main house breaker is usually outside near the electrical meter. The circuit breaker will have to be cycled to the OFF position and then back to the ON position
- Check for possible overloaded circuits before replacing fuses or turning a breaker back on.
