seniors-on-bus 60+ Discovery ToursUpcoming tours for those ages 60+ may include: a trip to Payson’s Salmon Supper, Antelope Island, The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, a fall foliage tour, and a double overnighter to St. George for the Huntsman Senior Olympic Games and Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Tuacahn Theatre.

Activity prices will range between $15-$30, 25% member discount.

senior-birthday Birthday Parties Celebrate life by coming to the Provo Recreation Center for a delicious meal with live entertainment and cake and ice cream in honor of your birthday. Make a reservation by calling our office the day before by noon.

Exercise Coach in the Wellness Room
Come enhance your exercise routine with an individual exercise coach! Get your questions answered and learn how to achieve your fitness goals. Leave your contact information at the front desk and our wellness coach will get in touch to schedule a group appointment.

Fee Free for senior pass holders
Must check in at the community desk for access.

Computer Classes Ages 60+
When Mondays and Wednesdays 3:00-4:00PM

Beginning Computer Class
$20/8 sessions
Dates September 7-28

Do you find using a computer difficult and frustrating? Come learn the basics of computers with us! We will learn how to turn on and logon to a computer, how to open and close applications (programs), and how to send and check email.

iPad Basics
Fee $20/8 sessions
Dates October 3-26

Want to get the most out of your iPad or tablet? Come join us as we learn to master these devices! We will discuss how to download and use popular applications (programs) such as Photos, Instagram, Pinterest, iBooks, and more!


Open Computer Lab Lab hours provide one-on-one help with all your technology questions. (Computers, Cameras, iPods, Phones, etc.)

When Check with the front desk for current schedule when lab assistant is available to answer questions. Usually Monday & Wednesday from 4:00-5:00PM.
Fee $2/session or free for those currently enrolled in computer class

Dances Bring your partner or come stag to enjoy a night of dancing. This is a social event where the experience, ambiance, and refreshments will please you.

Tai Chi Tai Chi's gentle, low impact movements burn calories and increases fitness and mental health.

Zumba Join us for Zumba where Latin and International music get your body movin’ and groovin’ with easy-to-follow dance moves that will keep you feeling and looking younger. Come try it out and invite your friends. You will absolutely love this workout!

gnome Porcelain Figurine Class Express your individuality by choosing your piece(s) and working them to perfection over the course of the class. Newcomers are welcome.

$9 for 12 weeks

Book of the Month This class includes a copy of the book of the month as well as a Book Club Guide (binder containing information about the book, author and questions to help stimulate discussion at the Book Club meetings). Light refreshments will be provided at the book introduction meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Informational Luncheons Each month we will hold informational meetings from outside educators about aging-related services and issues. These could include educational sessions about hearing assistance devices, best health practices, medication safety, etc.
