Home Purchase+ : The Home Purchase+ loan Program is to provide down-payment assistance of up to $20,000 or 20% of purchase price, whichever is less. A Home Improvement Loan of up to $20,000 is also available within one year of obtaining the Home Purchase+ down-payment
assistance.
Own in Provo: Applications for Own in Provo are no longer being accepted. Down Payment assistance is available with no income restrictions of up to $20,000 or 20% of purchase price of home whichever is less. This is a 0% deferred loan to assist people in becoming home owners in the Maeser, Joaquin, Timp, Dixon and Franklin neighborhoods.
Equity Sharing Program For home purchase with a sale price no greater than $232,305 in the Provo Pioneer Neighborhoods (Map), we will assist up to $17,870 with a 0% deferred loan.

Homeownership is an integral part of the American Dream and is a primary step to which most Americans accumulate wealth. The cumulative effect of small maintenance and repair projects can pay back big dividends.
The Housing Rehabilitation and Homeownership Programs comply with the lead-based paint regulation (24 CFR §570.608; 24 CFR 35) issued from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The lead-based paint regulation will affect any home built prior to January 1, 1978.
Emergency Repairs Grants and /or loans are available to assist properties owned and occupied by very low -low income (see The Income Chart ) persons who are 60 years of age or older and/or on Social Security Disability; and low-moderate income households owned and occupied by active-duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces within Provo City limits.
Repairs must be a health or safety emergency.
Grants do not exceed $5000.
If a loan is granted at a later date for additional repairs, the grant amount will be added to the loan balance.
Technical Assistance The Redevelopment Agency staff will process your application to: verify eligibility; inspect your home to determine what work can be done.
Provo City Redevelopment Agency is notifying all applicants of the hazards related to lead-based paint by providing a copy of the pamphlet, "Protect Your Family From Lead In Your Home," developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
