The Purchasing Division performs all duties and functions required for the procurement, lease or sale of services, supplies, materials, and equipment required by various City departments.
Purchasing also oversees the operation of the City's central mail service, central billing, inventory control, car pool, the travel program and the sale of surplus equipment and furniture. Currently, Provo City is selling all surplus (excluding property) at http://www.publicsurplus.com . Current Surplus
Purchasing has now moved into their new location, behind the cashier (2nd door on the left) as of 03/17/08. Access to the old office is restricted.
