Life Safety Trailer

Provo Fire and Rescue has available a Life Safety Trailer outfitted with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom that provide visual and hands on reference for life safety in the home. The trailer has a built-in artificial smoke machine that demonstrates the need for an escape plan and smoke detectors in residential dwellings.

It is an effective tool for teaching school children about the importance of fire and life safety. The Life Safety Trailer is on display at Fire Prevention Open House in October, the Fourth of July Arts Festival, and is available for schools, churches, and community events.

Our department also provides the Life Safety Trailer for “Free Immunization” clinics sponsored by the Utah County Health Department.
