Essential Duties: The individual appointed to this position will be required to perform the following duties: approximately six to nine hours of art/pottery instruction to individuals/groups per week at The Center.
Minimum Requirements: Thorough knowledge of art and pottery and the ability to work well with teens and adults. Must be able operate a productive, well managed class, and possess the physical ability required to perform the duties of the job.
Wage: $10.00 per hour. Payment will be made by direct deposit.
Schedule: Approximately six to nine hours per week. Exact schedule will be determined by department.
Selection Factors: Knowledge of art and pottery. Ability to work well with teens and adults and uphold The Center policies and procedures. Must also possess public relations skills.
Screening: Based on meeting the minimum requirements and job-related experience, skills, knowledge, and education. Criminal background checks are conducted on all City positions. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal.
Physical/Environmental Factors: This work requires physical strength and agility to perform the work including: six to nine hours of art/pottery instruction per week and other varied physical activities associated with performing the essential duties.
