The Airport Board recommends to the Mayor and Municipal Council of Provo City the needs and requirements of the airport and its facilities. It studies City, State and Federal budgetary matters, appraises development that is desirable for the airport, and studies and appraises an overall plan for the Provo Municipal Airport, together with such other duties and responsibilities as the Mayor or Municipal Council may delegate to the Board from time to time.

The Provo Arts Council is charged with:
(a) developing a comprehensive plan to strengthen the full spectrum of artistic resources in the city;
(b) assessing the needs of the city for performance facilities and display facilities for the arts and developing a strategy for the acquisition and operation of such facilities;
(c) promoting, producing and encouraging performances or displays by local, regional and national artists;
(d) supplying information regarding cultural opportunities in Provo City to the Provo City Economic Development Office;
(e) organizing groups, with the consent of the mayor, to be known as patrons of the arts;
(f) acting as an advisory body to the city in all matters pertaining to the arts.

The Board of Adjustment is a five-member board that hears and decides appeals from zoning decisions and variances from the terms of this Title 14 of the Provo City Code.

The Building Inspection Board of Appeals is made up of construction professional members to hear appeals of decisions of the Chief Building Official.

The Civil Service Commission is established by state law to hear any personnel action appealed by a civil servant as defined in state law.

The Design Review Committee is made up of members who are professionals in the fields of: architecture, design, landscape design, urban design, architectural history, art or graphic design, and planning. It is their responsibility to review development plans, preserve and enhance the visual character of the community and make recommendations to the Planning Commission.

The Eldred Center Board oversees the activities at the Eldred Center and advises on policies and activities for senior citizens.

The Parks and Recreation Board's function is to advise the Mayor and Parks and Recreation Director on matters relating to the planning and conducting of recreation and leisure activities.

The Landmarks Commission identifies and designates historic buildings for preservation within Provo City. The members make recommendations of homes and structures to be placed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and recommend policies and programs to safeguard the City's historic and cultural heritage.
The Library is managed and operated by the Library Board. The Board establishes policy, oversees staff, and acts as a advisory board to the Municipal Council.
