    Provo Mayor's Office

    Greetings!

Provo City is a wonderful place to live, work, and to play. One of my goals as Mayor is to involve more of the people of Provo in the processes of government and governance. To this end, I am pleased to provide access to citizen information on the internet and hope you will find it useful.

Nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Provo was founded by rugged pioneers in 1849 and is one of the oldest cities in the West. Today, Provo is one of largest cities in the State of Utah.

As Provo City Mayor, it is my privilege to work with many who are committed to maintaining a high quality of life. Our residents are hard working and are known for a strong commitment to public and community service. Because of the nature and goodness of the people who choose to make Provo their home, many business have located and flourished here.

    Best Regards,

    Mayor Lewis K. Billings
