Many citizens and business people in Provo serve on a variety of city boards and commissions.  If you have an interest in serving your community, applying for a position on a city board or commission is a great place to start.  Click on the links on the left to learn more about the various boards and commissions.  If you feel you would be interested in serving, or would like to nominate someone else, click the apply link at the bottom of each page to submit your information.

 

As vacancies occur on these boards, applicants will be screened by a committee and then recommended to the Mayor for appointment.  Most of these boards and commissions also require that appointees be submitted by the Mayor to the Municipal Council for their consent.
