    It Starts In Parks

Find out more about our parks...

Do you want to find out what a park offers or what it looks like? How many pavilions does it have? What does it cost to reserve? Does it have a playground? For these questions and more go to Park Amenities. After you have made a decision as to what park you want to use for your function go to Park Resevations.

Provo Parks Use and Helpful Information

One of Provo’s greatest assets is its geographic location. With the majestic Wasatch Mountain range forming the city’s eastern boundary and Provo River running through the city to Utah Lake on the west, Provo has uncommon natural beauty and offers a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities.

Thanks to the foresight of past and current community leaders, Provo has preserved open spaces and developed several parks to meet the needs of the growing local population. These areas have become highly prized community assets and add to a quality lifestyle for residents of Provo City.

Please take some time to visit the parks and trails in Provo and enjoy the unique natural beauty of this area.

Please be mindful of park regulations while using city parks. Some of these include:

    • Dogs must be controlled with a leash when in the parks.
    • Owners are responsible to pick-up after them.
    • Sled on hills in parks at your own risk.
    • We strongly discourage "Slip and Slide" games and ice blocking.
    • Park hours are from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily.
    • Obey all seasonal fire restrictions while using parks, especially canyon parks.
    • Dispose of hot coals responsibly, do not dump hot coals in trash cans.
    • Report vandalism, graffiti and other criminal acts immediately to the Provo Police Department.
    • Keep stereos and music down
