    Wallyball

A super fun game for everyone! Wallyball is a very easy game to play and very fun for all ages. The Provo Recreation Center has all ten of their racquetball courts converted for wallyball play. Wallyball, much like Volleyball, is played with two to six players on each team. An eight-foot high net is set up in a racquetball court, which creates the playing area. Wallyball rules are similar to volleyball regarding serving, passing the ball up to three times on a side, clockwise rotation, and scoring each game to fifteen points. The ball may be played off any wall after the serve. The ceiling is out of play. Wallyball fits every age group and is great for family night activities, church group parties, or just as a get-together with friends. Reservations can be made by calling the Provo Recreation Center one-day in advance, at 852-6610 (dial "0" after message).

    Corporate Memberships

Corporations have determined that their employees are much more productive at work when actively involved in an exercise/fitness program.

With the US Surgeon General’s recent statement that only "the combination of exercise and proper nutrition can combat obesity." Can you think of a better time to get your employees started on a good exercise/fitness program?

Corporations located in the greater Provo area are invited to call the Provo Recreation Center for information about the corporate membership program for their employees. The Provo Recreation Center features two weight rooms (a cardio-weight room with four treadmills, two recumbent exercise bikes, and two ellipticals, plus a Paramount 5000 weight machine with four stations, and a free-weight room), ten racquetball/wallyball courts, as well as an indoor swimming pool. For more information about corporate memberships call 852-6610 (dial "0" after message) or stop by the Provo Recreation Center, 1155 N. University Avenue. The Provo Recreation Center is open six days per week, Monday thru Saturday.
