Adult/High School Ice Hockey

Skills Development Clinics

The 2012 Summer Clinic starts on Tuesday, May 8th. 

What is the Adult/High School Skills Development Clinic?
  • This is a 12-week program that focuses on instructional level ice hockey skills. 
  • The program is designed to advance the skills of hockey players, ages 15 and older, in the beginner to intermediate range.
  • This program is a great supplement to playing in the Adult League. 
 
When is the Adult/High School Skills Development Clinic?
Classes begin Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 7:00 - 8:00pm. Classes are every Tuesday (no class on 7/3 & 7/24) and will end on 8/7/12. 

 

Do I need to know how to ice skate to participate?
Basic ice skating skills are required for participation in this program.  All beginning level skaters should have a good understanding of the mechanics of skating before signing up for the Adult/High School Skills Development Clinic.
What equipment is required for participation?
  • Hockey skates* 
  • Helmet with mask* 
  • Shin guards*
  • Elbow pads*
  • Hockey gloves*
  • Hockey stick
  • Hockey pants (breezers) and shoulder pads are optional, however, recommended. 

 

*These items are available for rent at the Peaks Ice Arena. The remaining equipment is available for purchase at any local hockey shop.
