Hockey Programs
The Peaks Ice Arena offers several ice hockey programs from youth to adult. For our youth, their hockey progression begins with our Learn to Skate Program. Upon completion of Hockey Level 3 in the Learn to Skate Program, our skaters then begin the Start Smart Hockey Development Program or our new Mini Mite program for beginning hockey players ages 4-7. Once they have completed the Start Smart Program, our players are now ready to compete in the Peaks Youth Hockey League.
For those Adults and High School aged youths (15-17) who like to improve their game, we offer an Adult/High School Skills Development Clinic. This is an opportunity for Adults and High School students to get expert instruction from qualified coaches, so that they can be confident while playing in the Peaks Adult Hockey League or the Utah High School Hockey League. For those adults who wish to continue playing hockey recreationally, we also offer the Peaks Adult Hockey League.
Furthermore, the Peaks Ice Arena offers several Drop In sessions, Stick Time sessions, skills clinics,
and much more. Hockey is growing rapidly in Utah. Check out these other websites for the lastest hockey information.
Words from the Hockey Coordinator:
Hello, my name is Ed Lukacs. I am the hockey coordinator here at the Peaks Ice Arena. I am very excited about the future of our hockey programs here at the Peaks. The progression of our youth hockey players from our Learn to Skate program to Start Smart to the Peaks Youth Hockey League has my confidence that we are providing our youth the opportunity for teamwork, camaraderie, sportsmanship and most importantly, fun. I believe we are at the forefront in hockey development, and we offer something for every hockey athlete from beginner to advance. So, I would like to express my thanks to you, Utah County, and welcome you to our facility. I look forward to seeing everyone of you on the ice at the Peaks Ice Arena.
Congratulations to the champions of the Summer 2011 PAHL!
