Under the command of Captain Jerry Harper, Operational Support Services Division includes many essential aspects of police work.
The Dispatch Center, which receives all 9-1-1 and police emergency calls, falls under this division.
The Property Bureau, Quartermaster, which is responsible for the documentation and storage of crime scene evidence, is also part of this division.
Police Services for special events, such as the Olympics, are organized and managed within this division. The coordination of special events requires cooperation from various law enforcement agencies in terms of personnel and jurisdictional responsibilities.
