Members of the Animal Control Unit respond to requests from officers, as well as calls from the general public. The unit is tasked with the duties of Animal Bite Incidents, Illegal Animals, Licensing of Animals, Lost Pets, Stray or Nuisance Animals, and Vicious Animals.  To contact the Animal Control Unit through Dispatch at 801-852-6210.
