Each Wednesday morning the Provo Justice Court holds Domestic Violence Court.  The Provo Police Victim Assistants attend that court and speak with victims who come to the hearings.  They make reasonable efforts before court to make telephone contact with victims of domestic violence to let the victim know the date and time of the hearings and to explain those hearings.  They also take information to the court on what the victim would like to see happen, e.g., if a criminal protective order is needed.
