Compost - all materials brought in are ground up, mixed together and composted. Compost is a beneficial soil amendment tilled into the soil and used to add valuable nutrients and organic matter to the soil and improve the soil’s texture and appearance. This compost does contain bio-solids from water reclamation plants.
Mulch - decorative wood chips that have not gone through the composting process. Mulch is mainly wood chips used for ground cover that shades the soil to help retain moisture, reduce weeds and discourage weed growth.
Landscaping rock is now available at the compost station. 3" and 8" rock costs $40 per cubic yard.

Unacceptable items?
Dirt, rocks, roots with dirt.
Sod
Stumps, branches longer than 10’, trunks larger than 10” diameter.
Building/fencing materials, treated wood.
