The Provo City Redevelopment Agency commissioned a series of studies assembling the baseline information needed for a Downtown Business District "Center Focus" strategic plan.  One of these, completed by the nationally-recognized consulting firm of Economic Research Associates (ERA), is an analysis of the market for Downtown office, dining, retail, and residential space.  Although produced in 2006, the ERA analysis focused on long-term population trends and how these would affect the market.  Consequently, the analysis still has relevance even after several years.  What ERA discovered is very encouraging for the future of the Downtown.

The study's conclusions will be very valuable as Provo considers what is possible and desirable in the Downtown in the coming years.
