Trees in the Community
Trees are an important and valuable part of any community. Healthy trees reduce the air pollution and noise pollution in a community. They contribute to community image, pride, and quality of life. Mature trees enhance the property values and aesthetics of a community. They provide energy savings for community members by shading and cooling structures.

If you wish to support trees in your community, you can make a donation to the Provo Forestry TreeBank. All donations will be used to purchase new trees for plant throughout Provo City. Thank you for your support!

Neighborhood Tree Planting Project
Groups of five or more households in a neighborhood that have sprinkler systems installed can apply to participate in a tree planting project. Provo City will pay for trees to be planted in parking strips and assist residents in planting trees. For more information regarding neighborhood tree planting projects please review the application available below.

Did you know?

Every year Povo City provides free trees to Provo homeowners that have central air conditioning systems. These trees are supplied to create shade and minimize the use of air conditioning systems. Look for information in your August utility bill.
