Tree Selection
Provo City has a long standing tradition of planning for and taking care of a beautiful urban forest. The trees in our urban forest are a very important component of our City's infrastructure. Daily we receive many benfits from these treese. Trees improve our air quality by purifying the air and regenerating oxygen, they sequester carbon, and they provide shade coooing our urban areas, reducing energy consumption and lowering cooling costs to name a few. We hope you enjoy and use this Tree Selection Guide and Tour as we continue to move forward together taking care of this precious natural resource that is an important component of the great quality of life we share in Provo.
