Timp Neighborhood Meeting
- Date: 04/24/2018 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- Location: White Willow Reception Center
342 N 400 W
There are a few items of neighborhood importance that we need to talk about this Tuesday 6:30-7:30 p.m. meeting held at The White Willow Reception Center 342 N 400 W
First the Binghams would like to present to the neighborhood an idea that we have for adding a garage to our back yard. The garage will have an apartment above it. The zone that we are in does not allow detached apartments or even apartments over garages. We are asking the city to make a special zone for this project but we would like to talk to you neighbors first to see how you all feel about it. We have been working on the plans for over a year and would like to know what you think about our idea.
Second, Dave and Laurel Smith would like to add on to their reception center. Right now they are losing potential clients because the clients perceive that the space is not big enough. They would like to add on in the side yard behind the fence so that they can attract a wider variety of groups. This brings up a bigger issue: what is to be done with the existing businesses along 500 West? We would like to meet to discuss this dilemma. The city council as well as the city would like to hear from us on this issue so your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Third, we need to vote on how to use our matching grant funds for this year.
