Maeser Neighborhood Meeting

  • Date: 04/28/2016 6:00 PM
  • Location: Fire Station #5
    275 S 700 E
Let's get ready for some spring and summer service in our neighborhood!

Kena Jo Matthews from Habitat for Humanity is coming to discuss some options for our Brimhall 2 project on 600 East 300 South in Provo. They also want to help with a Paint your Heart Out Project in our neighborhood and discuss updating the mural at Maeser Park.

We also need to start considering who would be willing to serve as our next chair and vice chairs. (Vice chairs may just take on specific assignments, and it is good if we have more than two so that the work is shared and we have some redundancy.) My family is preparing to move (temporarily) to Belgium for a year in August, so I won't be able to continue working for you as I have for these past few years.

We'll also take a moment to remember Kurt Peterson, former chair of Joaquin Neighborhood who died this weekend in a car crash.

As usual, we will meet on the 4th Thursday, April 28th, at 6 p.m. at Fire Station #5, 275 S 700 E. Depending on the weather, we may be able to start meeting at Maeser Park in May.
