Celebrate Provo’s vibrant community as we highlight many unique aspects of our city and culture. Home to both discovery and adventure, Provo’s Spring Festival will give you a chance to see, hear, taste, and feel the excitement springing to life all around us.
Events will be held at multiple locations with the main Festival taking place at Lakeview Park.
Calling all young scientists! Join us at the Recreation Center for a morning of science experiments and activities for the whole family! Held in March, the Science Palooza is a great way to show kids how fun science can be!
|BIKE TO WORK DAY|
If you have been looking for a good reason to park your car and take your bike to work/school – this is it.
Held in May at the Historic County Courthouse - join Mayor Curtis in all the cycling festivities. The event is from 7:30 am – 9:00 am, and the first 50 participants will receive a free helmet – so get there early!
|MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE|
Held on Memorial Day, a service is held at the Provo Cemetery (610. S. State Street) for the all ages. The service includes an hour long program, 21-gun salute by the Metro SWAT and "Taps" bugle call by Timpview High School Band.
In the event of bad weather, it will be held at the Covey Center for the Arts (425 W Center St).
|UTAH LAKE FESTIVAL|
Held annually, on the first Saturday in June. Free for the whole family, free Hot Dogs and Popcorn, Kid's Games and Crafts, Sailing Demos, Educational Booths, and much more!
|summer concerts in the park|
Come rain or shine, the Utah Premiere Brass will be performing free concerts in North Park in Provo (500 N 500 W) at 7:00 pm every Sunday in June. Come and enjoy the outdoors along with a variety of music!
|PIONEER DAY EXTRAVAGANZA|
Held on Pioneer Day (July 24) . Entertainment, games for kids, pie cooking contest, food truck roundup! This event is free to the public.
|MOVIES IN THE PARK|
Mondays in June at Rock Canyon Park (2620 N 1200 E). Come enjoy a big screen movie in the great outdoors! BYOB (bug repellent and blankets). Discounted concessions are available. Entertainment includes Just Dance Wii before the movie. This event is free to the public.
Trick of Treat Street, Spook Alley, Carnival Games, Laser Tag and more. Fun for the whole family.
|VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE|
Provo’s annual Veterans Day Tribute is held in November on Veterans Day at Timpview High School (3570 North 650 East). The program will start at 10:00 am and is free and open to the public.
The Monday morning program is planned by students of Timpview High School with the support of the Provo City Veterans Council and America’s Freedom Festival at Provo.
|LIGHTS ON CEREMONY|
Santa Claus is coming to town! Join the Mayor and Santa the first Saturday in December as they stop the Grinch from stealing Christmas. Stick around to see Santa light Center Street and welcome the Christmas season in front of the City Center, 351 W Center.
Ring in the New Year with your family at the Provo Recreation Center. Activities and dances for all ages. Two firework shows at 9 PM and Midnight.
