2019 Primary Election Results
The Provo City Municipal Council and Mayor sitting as the Board of Canvassers will meet on August 27, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers to certify the results of the 2019 Provo City Primary Election.

The 2019 Municipal Election will be a vote by mail election. There are four seats up for election in 2019: Council District 1, Council District 3, Council District 4, and City Wide Council II.

Drive-Up Ballot Drop Box
This year you can return your ballot from the convenience of your vehicle! Provo City has installed a new drive-up ballot drop box at Provo City Library. The drop box is located next to the book return on the north side of the building. Click here for directions. 
  
General Election - Tuesday, November 5, 2019
The general election will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Ballots will be mailed to active registered voters on October  15.  You may return your ballot via mail but it must be postmarked by November 4, the day before the election. Or simply return your ballot to any Utah County ballot drop box, including the new drive-up drop box at Provo City Library, located next to the book return on the north side of the building. 2019 Municipal Election: Important Dates and Deadlines

GENERAL ELECTION

  • Now: If you're not registered to vote, now is the time! Register online at: https://vote.utah.gov/  
  • September 6, 2019: Last day to declare write-in candidacy.
  • September 20, 2019: Ballots are transmitted to overseas and military (UOCAVA) voters.
  • October 15, 2019: Mail ballots are sent to voters.
  • October 29, 2019: Last day to request a mail ballot and register to vote online or at the county clerk's office.
  • November 4, 2019: If you are returning your ballot by mail it must be postmarked the day prior to the election! (You may still return your ballot to any Utah County dropbox on election day.)
  • November 5, 2019:  Municipal General Election. Utah County voters may register to vote with a provisional ballot at any Utah County Service Center on Election Day.
