Program fees are shown with $5 early bird discount if signed up before registration deadline. Programs are all for ages 60+.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

senior-picnic Senior Picnic SeriesThis year our senior picnics will be at the Recreation Center Pavilion. Access to the pavilion will be available from the North Park Pioneer Museum parking lot. Each picnic will have a summer theme with matching entertainment and decorations. Reservations required.

Age 60+
Fee $3 donation recommended
Dates 6/20  |  7/18  |  8/15

seniors-on-bus 60+ Discovery Tours

Upcoming tours for those ages 60+ may include BYU's performances of the Peking Acrobats and Romeo y Julieta, the Covey Center's performance of Barefoot in the Park, a facility tour of DoTerra and the Bowls for Humanity event. Stop by and check our calendar or call us for more details. Patrons must find a ride to and from the community center.

Activity prices will range between $10-$30, 25% member discount. Dates & times will vary.

senior-birthday Birthday Parties Celebrate life by coming to the Provo Recreation Center for a delicious meal with live entertainment and cake and ice cream in honor of your birthday. Make a reservation by calling our office the day before by noon.

Exercise Coach in the Wellness Room
Come enhance your exercise routine with an individual exercise coach! Get your questions answered and learn how to achieve your fitness goals. Leave your contact information at the front desk and our wellness coach will get in touch to schedule a group appointment.

Computer Classes Ages 60+

Intro to Blogging

Come learn how to follow your favorite writer's blogs and how to create your own.  
 


 

Open Computer Lab Lab hours provide one-on-one help with all your technology questions. (Computers, Cameras, iPods, Phones, etc.)

When Check with the front desk for current schedule when lab assistant is available to answer questions. Usually from 4:00-5:00PM after class sessons.
Fee $2/session or free for those currently enrolled in computer class


Dances Bring your partner or come stag to enjoy a night of dancing. This is a social event where the experience, ambiance, and refreshments will please you.

Tai Chi Tai Chi's gentle, low impact movements burn calories and increases fitness and mental health.

60+ Zumba Join us for Zumba where Latin and International music get your body movin’ and groovin’ with easy-to-follow dance moves that will keep you feeling and looking younger. Come try it out and invite your friends. You will absolutely love this workout!

Free Legal ServicesMake an appointment with our legal services volunteer. Cathryne specializes in estate planning guardianships and conservatorships, and special needs trusts. Her firm also practices personal injury and family law.

Woodworking Class Bring your curiosity and work on your own piece. Beginners welcome.

Book of the Month This class includes a copy of the book of the month as well as a Book Club Guide (binder containing information about the book, author and questions to help stimulate discussion at the Book Club meetings). Light refreshments will be provided at the book introduction meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Informational Luncheons Each month we will hold informational meetings from outside educators about aging-related services and issues. These could include educational sessions about hearing assistance devices, best health practices, medication safety, etc.
