Health insurance policy Elder Quest ClassesElder Quest continuing education for older adults is coming to the Provo Recreation Center. You must register as a member of Elder Quest to participate in classes, or you can pay a daily fee to check it out for the first time. Stop by the community desk for more information. 



Jack-o-lanterns Tax Preparation If you need help preparing your taxes for 2018, stop in to the community center or call us to set-up an appointment. The last day for appointments is 4/12, but get yours done early because appointments fill up quickly.

seniors-on-bus 60+ Adventure Club

Upcoming tours for those ages 60+ will include local sites such as BYU for art and entertainment, a delicious chocolate tasting, Newsies at the Orem Hale Center Theatre and more. Check the community desk for information on the most current tours available for registration. The senior discovery tours that travel greater distances will be starting back in April.

Exercise Coach in the Wellness Room
Come enhance your exercise routine with an individual exercise coach! Get your questions answered and learn how to achieve your fitness goals. Leave your contact information at the front desk and our wellness coach will get in touch to schedule a group appointment.

Computer for Beginners

Dates 3/4-3/27 I Deadline 2/25

You've got a computer, and you've got a brain. This computer basics class is designed to help you using both at the same time. You'll be reading emails, writing documents, and using the internet in no time. No prerequisites necessary.  

Intermediate Computer Skills
Dates 4/1-4/24 I Deadline 3/25

So you've got the basics down, but are you ready for your next step? This course is designed to help you apply your skills with tasks such as organizing files, learning new programs, and using shortcuts. 

Writing Your Personal History
Dates 5/6-5/29 I Deadline 4/29

In this month-long course, you will learn Microsoft Word, typing techniques, content feedback, and much more. Share your personal history in the words that you type. 

Navigating Google
Dates 4/5-4/26  | Fridays 3-4PM I Deadline 3/29
$10/4 sessions

Learn how to google your technology questions and finding the sources you want. Must have taken beginner level computer classes as a foundation. 

Sharing Your Personal History
Dates 5/3-5/24  | Fridays 3-4PM I Deadline 4/26
$10/4 sessions

Share your content on various social media sites. Must be either concurrently in the Writing Your Personal History Class or have previously written a personal history.

When Check with the front desk for current schedule when lab assistant is available to answer questions. Usually from 4:00-5:00PM after class sessions.

seniors doing yoga 60+ Zumba Join us for Zumba where Latin and International music get your body movin’ and groovin’ with easy-to-follow dance moves that will keep you feeling and looking younger. Come try it out and invite your friends. You will absolutely love this workout!

painting on a canvas Discover the Artist Within YouExperience the joy of creating and self-expression. Instruction will be given on drawing and painting and we will use a variety of mediums. Supplies will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring projects you are already working on. All levels are welcome.

library Book of the MonthWe will be discussing the books listed for each month. You can stop by the Provo Recreation Center Community Desk and pick up a copy prior to the Book Club Meeting, or you can come to the meeting and pick up the book for the next month. Light refreshments will be provided.
